Health and Safety


Environmental Safety followed by Health Induction 30minutes each

This is the only mandatory appointment that everyone has to undergo. Not another version of 'this is the treadmill!' This is all about your safety whilst in our facility including a brief medical questionnaire and blood pressure check.

Resistance Safety 30mins

A chance to learn or re-cap on how to use resistance equipment safely and effectively.

Cardiovascular Safety 30 mins

A chance to learn or re-cap on how to use cardiovascular equipment safely and effectively.

Personal Program

Initial Consultation 30mins

An informal chat during which time your trainer will ascertain your current activity levels, exercise history, objectives, time frame, likes and dislikes, identifying your lifestyle/physical challenges and get a feel for what motivates you.

Exercise prescription 30mins

Based on the results of your initial consultation, your trainer will put together a safe and effective program of exercise, providing you with a structured approach to achieving your objective.

Practical walk through 30mins

Your trainer will walk you through the program that has been prescribed, so that you have an understanding of what to do, how to do it and how it relates to your desired outcome.

Program Review

A must for anyone who feels that they may have lost their way, are lacking motivation or getting bored. We generally suggest you have your program reviewed every 6-8 weeks to ensure continued progress towards your desired outcome.

This is for those members who would like a better understanding of weight loss and the options available to suit their own individual lifestyles. Covering areas such as, exercise options, portion control, healthy eating and low calorie diets. Duration 30 minutes.

1on1 Boxercise

Improve your balance timing and coordination. Fasted paced, motivating and inspiring it puts the work back into your work-out. Duration 30 minutes.

TEK Check

This covers everything from beginners who would like confirmation that they are using the equipment in the safest and most efficient manner right the way through to more experienced gym users who really want to get to grips with the finer points of resistance training. Duration 30 minutes.

Health Check

For those members who require something a little more tangible than the 'feel good' factor. Often used as a bench mark to monitor improvements in fitness, you will receive a personalized report detailing your blood pressure, body mass index, % body fat, aerobic capacity, strength and flexibility. Duration 30 minutes

Lifestyle Management

Lifestyle Management is about raising individual awareness, embracing responsibility and increasing self-belief by focusing on future possibilities rather than past mistakes. Sometimes all that is needed for an individual to unlock their true potential is an independent, non-judgemental sounding board. Duration 30-60 minutes.

Physiotherapist / Sports Therapy

From sports related injuries to lifestyle aches and pains our local, Independent Practitioners who are suitably qualified, insured and experienced will help get you on the road to recovery.

Whether it's losing weight, toning up or getting into shape for that special occasion, our Independent Qualified Insured and Experienced Personal Trainers offer you the inspiration to get started, the motivation to keep going and the results that make it all worthwhile!



ActivX Micro Class

If you thought exercise was boring think again! Group training is Aerobics, Circuit, Step, Weight training and many other disciplines all packed into a single class that not only improves coordination, confidence and motivation but is also great fun! It is ideal for those people who would like to train with friends/colleagues in a safe and controlled environment.
